From the Chairman :-

The UKIP Bromsgrove Constituency Association (Branch) covers the entire Parliamentary constituency area of Bromsgrove which is also coterminous with Bromsgrove District Council.

It includes not only Bromsgrove town itself but also Stoke Prior, Tardebigge, Beoley, Alvechurch, Wythall, Hollywood, Majors Green, Barnt Green, Cofton Hackett, Romsley, Rubery, Catshill, Marlbrook, Dodford, Belbroughton, Clent and Hagley.

If you reside in any of these areas you are entitled to join UKIP Bromsgrove and we will make you very welcome. If you are able to help us in fund-raising, spreading the UKIP message or other activities, so much the better.

If you are not currently registered on the Electoral register for where you live please contact us for information on how to go about registration with the District council, and how you can get your entry amended if you move house, using the new rolling registration procedure.

We are totally democratic and non-discriminatory and encourage local people from all backgrounds to join us and support the party locally and nationally.

“If we are to achieve our aim of restoring control of our own affairs to the British Parliament, we need to win a majority of seats in the House of Commons. That means electing a UKIP Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove, to replace the current strongly pro-Europe Conservative MP.”

“I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be standing as the PPC for Bromsgrove and I will work hard, starting immediately, to win Bromsgrove for the Party. I moved here four years ago, and I am lucky to have joined a motivated and hard-working branch of people who feel that our continuing membership of the ghastly European Union, costing us £45 million pounds per day, is ruining our country. The current collection of politicians are not listening or answering the needs of people, and we in UKIP intend to offer a fresh alternative; we will listen!

That £45 million pounds, about 10% of which is wasted in fraud, incompetence and corruption, could fund our entire National Health Service for nearly eight months! Or we could cut the basic rate of income tax by 6p in the pound. If people realised how much of our money was wasted on the European Union, they would never vote Labour or Conservative again.

I believe that the future of our Party, and our country, is greatly dependent on restoring a respect for, and belief in the electoral process, so badly damaged by Labour and Conservative governments. We need to undo this harm, and it is critically important that we engage young people in this process - NOW!"
